Jack Magids assists clients confronted with complicated business and financial issues. He orchestrates comprehensive multiparty transactions, develops strategies for the settlement of complex litigation, and assists clients with private equity and debt transactions. He has served clients in varied industries, including multi-family, retail, office and vacation real estate, mortgage lending, manufacturing, retail, wholesale distribution, healthcare, entertainment, sports franchises, food and beverage, travel, government contracting, and legal services.
Mr. Magids holds a BA from the University of Texas (1969) and a JD from the University of Texas (1972). Mr. Magids is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, and is licensed in the States of Tennessee and New York. Mr. Magids is a member of the American, Tennessee, New York and Memphis and Shelby County Bar Associations.
He has been selected for inclusion in the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 , 2014 and 2015 edition of Best Lawyers in America for his work in both corporate law and bankruptcy and creditor rights law.
